Visit from Jeff and Sara

Just had our good friends Jeff and Sara visit from Canada. A lot of you
would know Jeff and know that I've known him for many, many years
so it was really cool just to be able to hang out and gasbag together.
They saw and did loads (much more than we do) but then again they
always say when you live somewhere you don't see as much as when
you visit it. We did manage to go to Keswick together and visit the standing
stones at Castlerigg and Long Meg stone circles. Also had a lovely night
out for dinner at The Fox Inn at Ousby with lots of laughs and yummy
food. Now we just have to get back to Canada to visit them.

Those of you that know me well will also note the return of Libby Lizard
Tongue from years gone by. Also included a nice shot of Ian cooking us
dinner...first BBQ of the year and just to prove he is still around he just
doesn't write in the blog!!!!!

Bump goes to London

Last weekend had a wonderful weekend with my sister Susie in London.
We chilled out, went shopping, had lots of yummy food as she led me all
over town. Also went to visit my cousin Trina and her family husband Andy
and delightful kids Maddy and Toby who live in a beautiful house in Surrey.
Once again as I am unable to download the photos...I am such a technophobe
