..and here we are at Durham Cathedral. Altogether a very happy holiday. Highlights included visiting Magna a science centre converted from an old steel works which is in Sheffield and where Ian had his first job, the beaches (for me of course) and just being able to spend some quality time together....how long will it last until reality kicks back in again!!!

Holidays!!

Our first port of call Hunstanton in Norfolk....

Hi folks

Long time no writing. We finally were able to have a holiday, after a year without one, we thought it was very well earned!!! Sadly couldn't make it back to Oz as my visa hadn't come through, so went down the East Coast of England instead and saw some fab places we hadn't been to before.

Started in Norfolk and ended in Northumbria and then our last night in Scotland to visit Mike & Megan.
Saw lots of beaches (great for views and walking), cathedrals, bookshops, old houses. Ate too much, drank a little and had a lovely relaxing time. Of course there were also lots of rides on trains.

Here's some photos from the trip.
